Star Wars-the Clone Wars DVD Review

This is not star wars of your father.  Or better yet, this is not your star wars, but of your child.

One thing is obvious for Star Wars: the Clone Wars is that the story line has not been developed for teenagers to adults. The usual fanboys who attend Star Wars conventions will grimace in this film, and indeed, many not judging from online forums that discuss this movie.

It seems to me that, since the Phantom menace was ten years ago, George Lucas intends to capture the next generation of 6-8 years, instead of film live action, do this with a series of animated Clone Wars.  The kick off for the cartoons TV is the theatrical release of Star Wars: the Clone Wars.

The film follows Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and served as governors field army during the Clone Wars. The film is certainly the feeling of an extensive pilot of the TV series.

The main Observatory centred around Skywalker is a feisty Padawan learner, Ahsoka Tano, which he accepted reluctantly.  Were given the Mission of rescue Jabba the Hutt baby son. refund of, Jabba has promised to help the Republic during the war.

The conversation between Anakin and Ahsoka is trivial and nothing to write home about Ahsoka is to introduce ... as the hard-headed, but loyal fan who is more than one friend to Anakin from a student. This is a relevant component of Jedi, but a little "rough on the edge".

Even sillier, which is just as true for the series, is the bantering between the droids battle.'S cutesy dialogue between machines battle loses its aura of horror that will be organised sinister armies of destruction. On the contrary, the droids feel like an army of Jar Jar Binks, a personality of the year 6-8 years old can enjoy.

Still, fans of CGI movies you'll find special effects enjoyable. There is no lack of laser battles between the Clone troopers and the droids and not disappoint the CG-rendered scenes Tattoine desert.

All your rating, Star Wars: the Clone Wars a 2 of 5 teenagers and adults, but George Lucas of the intended audience can be found in 5 out of 5. is a great cartoon series kickoff, perhaps one of the best organised by pilot episode.
